That is how I sometimes get through yet another day
I tell myself that over and over in my head
I fight the voice of dread
From the time I rise until I go to bed
There are days like that sometimes
This is my truth
Not sharing it would be a lie
But I take a deep breath in
A deep breath out
“It’s going to be okay”
“I’m going to be okay”
I tell myself this
And I make it through another day
I am not a burden
You are not a burden
