Miracle Woman

I am a

Living

Breathing

Walking

Miracle

Who once didn’t want to

Live

Breathe

Walk

Who once couldn’t function to

Bathe

Eat

Sleep

Regulate

Without

Pain

Grief

Deep

Deep

Shame

I am a

Living

Breathing

Walking

Miracle

Made up of

Grace

Determination

Medication

Years of hard work put into therapy

And prayers of a mother

I am a

Living

Breathing

Walking

Miracle

Not always 100%

But living now with purpose

Not always happy

But full of joy

Not always pleasant

But pleased to be here

I am a miracle

Because I have survived

And come out on the other side

Scathed

Oh yes!

Alive

Oh yes!

And thriving

Living my life fuller each day

Breathing in the positive and letting go of foolish things

Walking in stride one step at a time

A miracle

That is what I am!
