Mirror, Mirror

You hold the mirror back at me

Self created accountability

To see the things I often cannot see

My sin

My faults

Before they wreak havoc into shame

 Accountability

You hold the mirror back at me

So that I can do better

So that I I can do things differently

Accountability

My words ring true out of the mouths of others

Truths I need to hear

Gods truth spoken into my ears

Accountability

To face myself and see the pain before I cause it

To see the demise before the fall

To step back before I move forward

Accountability

Thankful every day for those God has placed in my life

To hold the mirror back to me

The nudge to open my mouth and share truth with sisters in Christ

Self created accountability

And the obedience of those who follow through
