You are not a burden -pt 3

When I was first diagnosed with bipolar disorder and for a while afterward, I definitely felt like I was a drain on the people around me.  But no one ever expressed that to me.  That was my own perception.  I did move on from relationships, but that is the natural ebb and flow of life I believe. Last weekend I had the pleasure of vacationing with my mom and this weekend I get to spend time with a dear friend.  Having close family and friends lift me up when I am having a hard time helps me carry the weight of bipolar disorder, but it also gives me people to celebrate joys and victories with!

Try filling in the blanks on the below poster for yourself. You are not a burden!
